Logistics Analyst

OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Logistics Analyst to support strategic logistics transactions between multiple parties including GOVCIO, our customer, as well as third party logistics providers. This position will be located in Hampton, VA and will be an onsite position.ResponsibilitiesThe Logistics Analyst will supoort our GOVCIO team members to optimize delivery of Deployable Communications Services in accordance with the Deployable Communications Service Plan and customer support schedules. Responsibilities include.Responsible for maintaining accurate records and keeping audit trails of all material received, shipped or returned for repair, following established supply proceduresCoordinate delivery and receipt of program property across the assigned program(s) as a single point of contactPrepares and maintains an organized documentation file necessary to effectively research all transactionsUpdates logistics/material system as necessaryPrepares and submits required reports to managementReceives Deployable Communication equipment, and handles/moves equipment with consistence of quality, accuracy, efficiency, and safetyRequisitions parts/equipment as well as general supplies and equipmentControl and maintain GOVCIO and Government property in accordance with contract provisions, Directives/Instructions and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Maintains the count integrity of the inventory by using a systematic cycle counting process to count stock items within the warehouse, and work to correct the discrepanciesProcess inbound and outbound equipment accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate Accounting efficiencyPrepares the documentation necessary to effectively control all parts, equipment and accountable materialInspect and monitor the loading/unloading of all equipment and verify counts and lot numbers, notifying the Delivery Manager on receipt and shipment issuesTraining and educating others on property management policies and proceduresContribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as neededProficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and WordManage the program IT Equipment Custodian (ITEC)QualificationsHigh School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills And ExperienceClearance Required: Secret Must be willing to undergo investigation to upgrade to Top Secret security clearance with Active SCI EligibilityExperience in shipping or inventory control; preferably in an IT environmentHave proven proficiency in data entryHave the physical ability to lift and handle up to 50lbs Experience with Defense Logistics Agency servicesAbility to maintain and track equipment across multiple unitsOptimize processes and engineer solution quickly and efficiently Experience with Air Force Supply systemValid Driver LicensePreferred Skills And ExperienceExperience using ServiceNow programExperience with Air Force Supply Chain and Defense Courier ServiceExperience with DoD deployment environmentExperience with MILAIR Movement#DSG #NSS #MAVERICK #TMK #TMPosted Salary Range: USD $69,900.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
