Home Health Aide (near Thorntown & Pike area): Mon/Wed/Fri 9am-1pm; Tues/Thurs 1pm-5pm

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and personal care. Your responsibilities will include patient observation, medication reminders, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those you care for. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client condition using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Medication Reminders. Assist with mobility needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans. Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of client information at all times. Requirements Previous experience in home health, caregiving, or assisted living environments is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical documentation practices is essential. Certification in CPR is required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or long-term care experience is highly valued. Strong observational skills to monitor changes in client health status effectively. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. A caring demeanor with a passion for helping others is crucial for success in this role.
