Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as an Embedded Software Engineer.Qualifications You Must HavePrior experience in leading a small engineering teamExperience with Software Development Using C++Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded programming, processor/board architecture and designWorking knowledge of Linux, VxWorks or other Real time operating systemsActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start dateTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experienceQualifications We PreferApplied experience in Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/D)Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development MethodologiesExperience with DevOps, Jenkins and automated testingExperience with Model Driven DevelopmentExperience with software integration on custom hardwareFPGA interfaces (memory mapped and SW/FW messaging) experienceWorking experience with Microservice Architectures and Containerized ApplicationsVersal (ARM assembly) knowledgePerformance optimization experienceCORBA experienceScripting language (e.g. Python)
