Program Assistant (Durham)
The Food is Medicine Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the organization's Food is Medicine team. The Program Assistant will work with internal program partners across program areas to ensure that Food is Medicine programming functions properly and remains compliant with relevant regulations. The responsibilities will include client intake, participant support, and submitting and tracking payments.Food is Medicine Program Assistant ResponsibilitiesComplete client intakes for referrals for our Food is Medicine programs, including referral acceptance, client intake, verification of benefits, service delivery initiation, and follow-up as necessaryUtilize best practices for customer service and client managementMaintain up-to-date information in the CRM system to ensure that program information is accurate and accessible to team membersTrack communication with referrals and follow up on a regular schedule to ensure that client is reachedComplete and submit invoices and claims to Medicaid partners on a weekly basisRespond to customer queries in an accurate, timely and courteous way, primarily via text and email and also via phone.Identify customer needs and helping customers use specific program benefitsMaintain or improve customer satisfaction and experienceAnalyze and report service delivery concernsGather customer feedback and share with our Food is Medicine TeamEngage with trainings, meetings, and program updates as necessaryOther related duties as requestedMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree or commensurate experienceTwo years of related experienceBilingual in Spanish preferred
