POSITION: Project Executive (Development Construction Manager)REPORTS TO: Director / Vice President, XpertCOMPENSATION: Salary, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility   LOCATION: Office / Project Sites – Hybrid Field Presence in Ohio SUMMARY  We are seeking a highly motivated Project Executive to serve as an Owner’s Representative supporting LDG Development’s multifamily portfolio in Ohio. Employed through Xpert and embedded with the ownership team, this role is ideal for a professional who understands both real estate development and construction execution and thrives managing projects from concept through completion.This position plays a critical role in protecting ownership interests, managing risk, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with Ohio LIHTC requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)   Represent ownership throughout design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout phasesMonitor budgets, schedules, and project performance metricsReview GMPs, estimates, change orders, and pay applicationsCoordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and contractorsTrack compliance with OHFA and LIHTC program requirementsConduct site visits to ensure quality, safety, and contract adherenceIdentify risks early and implement mitigation strategiesProvide clear reporting to leadership and stakeholdersManage third-party contractorsPermitting and monitoring state inspections QUALIFICATIONS  7+ years in construction management, development, or owner’s representationProven experience delivering multifamily projectsLIHTC or affordable housing experience strongly preferred (Ohio experience a plus)KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSStrong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and schedulingFamiliarity with development processes, financing, and entitlementsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and stakeholder coordination skillsTECHNICAL TOOLSProcore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel, or similar platformsEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or related field. BENEFITS  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Competitive bonus structure Tuition Reimbursement Paid Group Life InsuranceAncillary Benefits: Pet Insurance, Parental Leave etc.  WORK CONDITIONS  You are required to work both inside and outside of the office and in all areas of the construction property, including new construction sites, inside the offices of the job trailer, walking the property, and have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.      PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the team member must be able to engage in routine physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using hands for typing and handling materials. The position requires the ability to access all areas of the construction sites—both interior and exterior—in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind.   Team members must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
