The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities, providing visionary leadership to the philanthropy team, and advising the College President and Board of Trustees on donor cultivation and solicitation. This role requires a strong background in higher education fundraising, with a focus on major gifts, and the ability to engage the College community in a culture of philanthropy. The VP will also be tasked with managing a personal portfolio of prospective donors, establishing performance goals, and ensuring high-quality prospect research and stewardship functions. Candidates for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' of successful higher education fundraising experience. Special knowledge and skills required include a demonstrated track record in fundraising initiatives, the ability to design and execute fundraising plans, and experience in securing six and seven-figure gifts. The role demands a candidate with a strong commitment to the mission of the institution, the ability to work flexible hours, and a willingness to travel extensively.
