Field Technician I/II/III

SLICK Response is growing and looking to add more at the Field Technician I, II, and III levels. All personnel must be available for emergency response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals as required by SLICK RESPONSE. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings in order to comply with specific and company safety policies. Field Technician I - Summary of Position: Entry level position with little or no prior experience. Physically demanding position in a field environment to include chemical refineries, manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, bodies of water, fields, roads, etc. Main responsibilities include completing simple field based tasks in a safe and compliant manner. Activities include but not limited to emergency/spill response, industrial services, waste management, and environmental remediation. Field Technician II - Summary of Position: All responsibilities and capabilities of a Field Tech I but can complete tasks with less supervision and with greater competency. Greater capabilities operating equipment such as skid-steers, various pumps, forklifts, pressure washers, mini-excavators, boast, vermeer, etc.. Field Technician III - Summary of Position: All responsibilities and capability of a Tech I and Tech II but is fully proficient in the main duties of a field employee. Main responsibilities including that of a Tech I and Tech II but is expected to perform at a higher level and with less supervision/direction. Can fill out paperwork accurately and communicate effectively both with other employees and the customer. Some small tasks can be performed with Tech IIIs in charge of a team. Position Responsibilities: 1. Conducting Field Operations 90%: Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always performing tasks in a safe manner. Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day. Clean equipment or areas contaminated with oil, non-hazardous, hazardous, flammable, toxic, or corrosive materials. Assist in loading/unloading vacuum trucks/tanks/sumps/trenches/ditches/van trailers. Operate of equipment such as skid-steer, pressure washer, mini-excavator, man-lift, Vermeer unit, boats, etc. Perform general housing tasks such as sweeping, organizing, cleaning, and other Assigned tasks. Assist with various duties within the facilities and shop including regular equipment checks, maintenance, and inventory. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Communicate effectively with customers in a courteous and professional manner. 2. Safety/Compliance/Training 5%: Comply with federal, state, local, customer, and company requirements. Identify opportunities to improve. Keep up with personal training records. Attend safety tailgate/JSAs with team. 3. Administrative 5%: Ensures weekly timesheet is filled out properly and turned in on time. Print and sign JSAs. Complete daily job sheets correctly and turn in by the end of each day.
