Father's Engagement Homebased Caseworker

Job Overview Haven Focused is seeking men who have successfully functioned in the role of a father. We are not seeking excellent or perfect fathers, but rather fathers who have experienced parenting challenges and have obtained skills to be present and active in their children's life. Additionally. we are seeking fathers who have overcome life challenges while present or absent from the home; equipped to teach fathers effective parenting skills. As a Case Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting Fathers and families with within the DCS system and children in need. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable populations. Responsibilities - Collaborate with child welfare agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children - Conduct assessments and develop care plans for clients - Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community - Coordinate services and resources to meet clients' unique needs - Maintain accurate and detailed case records - Provide crisis intervention when necessary Qualifications - Experience or basic knowledge working with individuals with Fathers and or children is preferred. - Knowledge of child protective services and childcare practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team setting - Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is desirable or Equivalent - Willingness to accept guidance and feedback for professional growth Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Experience: Child welfare: 1 year (Preferred) Language: Haitian Creole, English, Spanish, Burmese, Chin (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Anderson, IN 46012 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Anderson, IN 46012: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Anderson, IN 46012
