Food and Beverage Manager

The Food and Beverage Manager position is a remote position located in either Houston, Texas or Tucson, Arizona Markets.The Food and Beverage manager will partner with multiple venue locations and assist Kitchen Managers and Supervisors to learn or refine day-to-day operations, rolling out of new menus or initiatives and training of kitchen staff. Will review health and safety standards, customer service, and help implement strategies to increase sales and profitability. Responsibilities: Own It. Ensure that effective orientation and training for new staff and development activities for experienced staff are planned and implemented. Inspect to ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met. Excellence by ensuring that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are in place and consistently utilized. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Ensure that all legal requirements are consistently adhered to, including federal, state and/or local laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages. Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities. Implement policies and procedures for food and beverage in venues. With your Spirit review new techniques for food preparation and presentation in a manner and variety to maximize member and guests’ satisfaction and to minimize food costs. Respect by addressing member and guest complaints regarding food and beverage and advise the General Manager of the venue about appropriate corrective actions that may need to be taken. Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the culinary team.Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures.Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.Implement and monitor standard operating procedures.Proficiency in inventory management and cost control. Qualifications: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and people skills.Familiar with company’s F&B operations, and have a deep knowledge of the food Industry, vendor relations, menu design and COGS review.Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic inventory experience. Excellence with interpersonal and communication skills Familiar with food service regulations Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks. Be able to be motivational and positive.
