Job DescriptionJob Title:Automotive General ManagerLocation:500 Westgreen Blvd, Katy, United States, 7745023140 Stockdick School Road, Katy, United States, 77493Job Overview:Christian Brothers Automotive is currently seeking a General Manager to oversee the teams at two locations. This person will need to strive to provide unmatched service to both our guests and their vehicles while maintaining honesty and integrity in all communications and service recommendations. The Franchise Operator position is directly responsible for all aspects of the locations operations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage office and shop personnel and daily operationsFollow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the current Employee HandbookTake necessary corrective and/or disciplinary action for employee non-complianceEnsure quality of work, attitude and performance meets or exceeds guest satisfaction goalsDirect the smooth, orderly and organized operation of the storeMaintain a personal positive attitude and positive communications at all timesDevelop estimates and work orders.Direct Service Writer's development of our guest estimates and work orders and assign work orders to the techniciansEnsure selection of quality partsEnsure target margins are achievedOpen and close stores on a daily basisPerform daily accounting closing and balancing proceduresPerform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, audits and report analysis. Report results to Franchise Owners and or OperatorsEnsure all equipment is fully operational and in good working order.Ensure technicians have the resources needed to do their jobServe as the primary communications interface to the customers, before, during and after serviceGreet every guest that enters our facility with enthusiasm and a smile, showing hospitality and the highest level of respectPresent the best solution to properly repair our customer's vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understandPossess the ability to consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrityAct in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting the characteristics of honesty and integrityOther duties may be assignedQualifications: QualificationsQualifications:At least 5 years experience in automotive repair, preferably in Fixed Operations and/or Service ManagementMust have strong interpersonal/communication skillsStrong customer service focusAbility to effectively lead and manage service manager/writer positionAbility to effectively lead and manage automotive techniciansSolid track record in automotive repair estimating and repair order generationSignificant experience in KPI reporting (ticket averages, car count, labor and parts reporting)Significant experience in retail sales/serviceWindows PC skills, including MS OfficeTekMetric or similar shop management system experiencePhysical Requirements:Being on your feet for the majority of the workday (standing, walking, etc)Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.Driving manual transmission vehiclesKeeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environmentCommunicating clearly with customers and team members via phone and computerAdditional InformationChristian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
