If you need additional information about this prohibition, you may contact the agency point of contact for additional information.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following Supervises the preparation of food and provides general cooking in a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) facility. Prepares food and provides general cooking. Prepares menus, consults with nutritionist, and other professional contacts. Maintains records of amount of food served and number served. Prepares all forms for federal school lunch program. Maintains records for government commodities received and used, as well as provides forms to the Department of Agriculture. Provides instructional kitchen skills to juveniles assigned to kitchen duties. Ensures proper supervision of juveniles. Prepares food requisitions and maintains food inventories. Maintains logs and inventory books on received and used foods and supplies. Maintains routine records for daily costs of meals. Maintains and reports attendance on juveniles for federal programs.
