Founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo, El Tequileño continues its tradition of quality, integrity, and authenticity while expanding across the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Australia, and beyond.Role Descriptionhe Brand Development Manager, Southern California is responsible for driving volume and distribution growth, account execution, brand visibility, and education across assigned markets in Southern California. This role works closely with the Region Manager – West Coast and partners with distributor teams, key accounts, and market stakeholders to execute regional strategy.Location: Southern California North, with primary focus on Los Angeles Salary: $80,000–$90,000 plus performance bonuses Reports To: Region Manager – West CoastKey ResponsibilitiesDrive depletion, revenue, and distribution goalsManage target on- and off-premise accountsBuild relationships with buyers, GMs, and beverage decision-makersMaintain close communication with distributor teamsExecute programming and brand standards in marketIdentify visibility opportunities including menus, displays, e-commerce, and eventsLead trainings, tastings, and consumer engagement eventsSupport cocktail list placements and menu featuresTrack KPIs, market trends, competitor activity, and budget spend in CRMCommunicate weekly updates, wins, and challenges to leadershipQualifications2–4 years of beverage alcohol sales experienceTequila/spirits experience strongly preferredBachelor’s degree preferredStrong knowledge of the California three-tier system and complianceExisting Southern California on- and off-premise relationships preferredComfortable working nights and weekends as neededReliable transportation for in-market travelSkillsStrong on- and off-premise selling skillsDistributor management and account strategy experienceStrong follow-up, organization, and relationship-buildingBudget management and ROI understandingProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong presentation and storytelling abilityTeam-first attitude with the ability to work independentlyWhy Paradise SpiritsHealth Benefit ReimbursementEmployee Bonus StructurePaid Time Off, including vacation and holidaysCar Allowance401KParadise Spirits is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
