JOB SUMMARY As our Associate Project Manager, you will make sure our project management process in new product introduction (NPI) is meticulously designed and changes are made in real-time. You will act as a liaison between the research and development team and other departments, as well as suppliers to ensure all timelines in the NPI process are met with excellent quality under budget. You will contribute to the product development process in terms of time management and product development, with an emphasis on Cloud Subscription and SaaS. You are expected to monitor all projects in real time and prioritize and assign tasks to all stakeholders and be accountable for the successful completion and timely delivery of the project. RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Engineering Manager Works with: Design, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Returns, Operations and Accounting ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management in New Product IntroductionDetermining and defining the project scope and objectivesAnalysis of project requirements and specifications, generating gap analysis and compliance matricesLead product development projects from strategic planning to implementation while collaborating with other departments, maintaining scope, time, cost and quality initiativesOversee and coordinate the teams, departments or individuals involved in the project & maintain consistent communicationLead Beta trials, including planning and communication with internal teams, beta trial survey creation and results analysisAssist with developing product strategy documents, such as product business plans, function maps and competitive product analysisImplementing product improvement plan with other team members, lead improvement project and communicate internally and externally to ensure the timelineLead on planning the improvement of marketing materials, including website and video resources, QSG, product manual and packaging materials.Make adjustments to project plan as needed and ensure the site leadership team is informed.Review, negotiate and manage project agreements.Assist vendor onboarding and continuous partner relations. Product/Cloud platform managementDraft product development related report and lead in version control.Lead cloud platform management including server configuration, cloud storage control, cloud subscription and monitoringLead in APP development, customization and improvement, lead in communication internally and externally with the engineering team on APP development project.Lead in APP launch and configuration in APP Store and Android Play Store.Gather customer feedback and align with stakeholders on strategic planning of cloud services and subscription modelsOwn roadmaps and strategic planning of cloud services, including cloud recordings, cloud analytics and cloud AI productsManaging hybrid and private cloud platforms, including user account management, performance management, device integration, APP development and maintenance and cloud service managementManaging edge AI, cloud AI and cloud function integration. OtherPerform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSB.S. in Computer Science, computer engineering or Information Technology, Masters degree is preferred.A minimum of 3 years of Software development, SAAS and cloud management experience in the consumer electronics industry, preferably in security camera systems and IOT devices.2+ years of product management experience driving platforms and systems, including experience with building 0-1 platformsCloud certifications such as Google, AWS and Azure are considered as an asset.Basic understanding of computer vision, artificial intelligence and image processing.APP development experience is considered an assetExcellent data analysis skills, especially using statistical models and best practices to derive unique technical insightsExperience with structured task management using online tools like Github, Jira, ClickUp, Notion, Trello, etc.Hands-on experience with Agile methodology e.g. XP, scrum, Kanban and some prior experience to traditional agency methodologies like PMI and SDLCPossesses a passion for consumer electronics and an entrepreneurial green-light mindsetAbility to keep up with our results-driven and fast-paced growth cultureExcellent written and verbal skills in English.Mandarin speaking is a plusJob Type: Full-time Experience:SAAS software/cloud platform: 3 years (Minimum) Job Type: Full-time Benefits:Company eventsDental carePaid time offVision care Education:Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience:SaaS: 3 years (required)Product Management: 2 years (required)Agile: 1 year (required)Consumer Electronic Product: 2 years (required)Working with Vendors: 2 years (preferred) Language:Mandarin (preferred) Work Location: In person
