Brake press setup operator

Description 1st Shift Operates manual Press Brake and/or other machines in accordance with company guidelines. Plans, selects, lays out, positions, and aligns dies in machine ram and bed of Press Brake. Competencies and Attributes Needed: Knowledge of Fabrication Process Ability to read drawings and blueprints Ability to work with manual tools including micrometers Requirements Experience and skills to operate manual Press Brakes, Rolls, and other equipment used in the Fabrication process. Experience in a manufacturing/fabricating shop Physical Requirements: Position requires physical capability which includes standing most of the time, some lifting up to 25 to 50 pounds, and pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching as needed. Standard shift is ten hours per day, with Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required. Plant facility does not have air conditioning.
