The Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group tutoring services to students across various subjects, helping them reach their academic goals. Duties include developing tailored lesson plans, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. The Tutor will also foster a supportive and engaging educational environment to encourage students' confidence and academic growth.QualificationsSubject-matter expertise in core academic areas, such as Mathematics, Science, English, and/or Test PreparationProficiency in developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and adapting instructional strategiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students and parentsPassion for education and a patient, motivational approach to teachingOrganizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students and prepare lessonsTeaching or tutoring experience is strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Education, relevant subject area, or equivalent experienceAvailability to work at the North Port, FL locationMUST HAVE A CURRENT FLORIDA TEACHING CERTIFICATE OR STATEMENT OF ELIGIBILITY
