Support launch of alpha and beta products and provide feedback to the Development Engineering team. Develop and document procedures for new products. Flexibility to work within both Assembly and Refurbishment cells.Key ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, evaluate, and prepare inspection report of findings on incoming Customer Hot RunnersAssemble, fit, and install prefabricated arts and sub-assemblies into unique custom made-to-order machine tool systemsRead and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematicsImplement continuous improvement initiativesCross train in other areas within the business as required; transfer and share knowledge with other team membersMonitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the team leaderEnsure all documentation is maintained according to standard operating proceduresPerform all cleaning of parts as per established cleaning proceduresPerform regular heat test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specificationsConduct product and performance testing and document resultsPerform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting and adjusting products as requiredAssist in troubleshooting fit, form and function issues and provide field support as needed to customersSkills/QualificationsHigh school diploma or high school equivalency requiredMechanical aptitude requiredProficient in the use of basic hand tools; crane and forklift experienceAbility to use, replace and maintain basic toolingBasic computer knowledge requiredTechnically capable of performing hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical assembliesAbility to lift a minimum of 35 poundsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings as requiredStrong problem solving and customer relation skillsExperience using measuring and inspection equipment and toolsA keen eye for detail and a results-driven approachAbility to work a variety of shifts and minimal travel may be requiredCollege diploma or apprenticeship certificate in related studies preferredApproximately 1- 3 Years Of Relevant Work Experience PreferredHusky TechnologiesTM offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
