Position TitleConstruction Site ManagerAbout This OpportunityWe are building the leadership team for a large-scale semiconductor FAB campus project in West Lafayette, Indiana, supported by the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act.The Construction Manager will take full ownership of construction activities for all utility and support infrastructure essential to semiconductor manufacturing operations.This is a field leadership role. You will lead and supervise site superintendent and subcontractor teams, ensuring effective coordination across all disciplines.This role will serve as the primary decision-maker on site, maintaining accountability for schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance, and will report directly to the SKEP management team.What You’ll DoLead and manage all construction activities for the semiconductor FAB project, including civil, architectural, structural, MEP, utilities, and cleanroom systemsCoordinate and manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, designers, equipment vendors, and owner representativesControl and monitor project schedule, budget, quality, and safety, identifying and mitigating construction risksEnsure compliance with semiconductor-specific construction standards and international codes (e.g., SEMI, ISO, NFPA)Establish and enforce site HSE policies with a strong commitment to zero-accident performanceManage change orders, technical issues, and construction claimsPrepare and present regular progress, cost, and risk reports to senior managementSupport commissioning, start-up, and transition to early production phasesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related disciplinesMinimum 15 years of professional experience in large-scale industrial or complex construction projectsProven experience in at least one of the following:Semiconductor FAB construction projectsSimilar high-tech or high-cleanliness facilities such as display, battery, pharmaceutical, or data center projectsDemonstrated leadership in site management and multi-contractor coordinationProficiency with project scheduling and construction management toolsAbility to communicate and report effectively in EnglishPreferred QualificationsExperience delivering projects in the United States or other international locationsStrong understanding of FAB-related systems such as cleanrooms, ultra-pure water, specialty gases, chemicals, and HVACProfessional certifications (PMP, PE, CM, or equivalent)Experience working from an Owner, CM, or PMC perspectiveProven ability to work effectively in multicultural and multinational environmentsCore CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex project environmentsField-oriented leadership with the ability to control large-scale construction sitesCommitment to safety and quality under aggressive schedulesHigh level of ownership, resilience, and accountability throughout long-duration projects
