Travel COTA - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with acute care experience for a day shift position at a hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting covering medical, surgical, orthopedics, neurological, neurosurgery, cardiac, and critical care units,• Also supports an Acute Rehab Facility with an average patient length of stay of approximately 2 weeks, with a high volume of stroke patients,• Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30), with every 4th weekend required,• 8-week contract,Job Requirements• Active MN COTA license required (license required if applicable),• Current BLS certification required,• Minimum 1 year of COTA experience required,• Acute care setting experience required,• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,Additional Information• Provide occupational therapy services across a broad range of acute care specialties including medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac populations,• Candidates must reside at least 25 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates within 25 miles will also be considered,• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration,• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
