Runner EDQ offers data quality enterprise server products, data quality services, and Cloud-based solutions.MethodologyTeam player with a fun, energetic and collaborative approachAbility to work independently and have excellent time managementA proven track record of success who feeds off goal setting and achievementAbout youMust be Independent, responsible, organized, and creativeWilling to work in a fast-paced environment that is rapidly changingCollaborate with team members across an organizationBe flexible, a self-starter and self-motivatedYou prioritize tasks and multitask effectivelyPositionsReporting to the Sales LeaderAccount ManagerAssociate Account ManagerRoles & ResponsibilitiesHires and trains account managers and team membersOversees and manages the performance of account managers, assisting with closing deals for new accounts and up-sells to existing accountsConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructiveHandles discipline and recommends termination of employees to the Executive Council per company policyProvides overall leadership to the sales teamMotivates and encourages the sales team to meet or exceed quotasReviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new marketsConsults with prospects to understand their needs; identifies and suggests products, services, or custom solutions that will meet those needsCollaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategiesPrepares sales budget; monitors and approves expensesIn collaboration with Marketing, acts as company representative at trade showsTrains and assists the accounts managers with prospecting, product expertise, discovery sessions, alignment to needs, justify the ROI, demoing, selling, and presenting expertise, pricing, quoting, negotiating, closingAssist with updating and creating department processes, procedures, policiesKeeps abreast of Runner company products and services as well as the competitive landscape and can articulate Runner's capabilities and services offerings to clientsGeneral DutiesManage the sales teamGenerate new leadsAssign leads to account team members following fairness policiesConvert qualified leads provided by marketing to opportunitiesAssist account team with closingDaily, weekly, monthly, quarterly sales activity reportingClose new deals of your own - engage in strategic and consultative conversations with clients at multiple levels: CIO, VP, Registrar, and functional usersSkills RequiredEssentialTechnical knowledge: Oracle, Higher Ed ERPs (Banner, Colleague, Campus Solutions), other verticals (PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, Salesforce)Excellent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software skillsExcellent sales and customer service abilities with proven negotiation skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skills - written, verbal and presentation skillsEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor\'s degree in Business, Management, or related disciplineExperience utilizing a consultative sales approachProven record of sales leadership experienceMinimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in educational technology, software sales or services, selling into educational institutions, state systems, government, or private sectorAdditional NotesRunner EDQ offers a competitive salary, benefits, and a fun, dynamic working environment.
