The COO identifies new revenue streams, pilots new product and channel concepts, and scales what works — with speed and limited resources. This is a builder and a driver role. Running the core business and expanding what Martie can become are equally the job.Scope of OwnershipBusiness Performance & Operating CadenceOwn end-to-end company performance with full accountability for core KPIs: revenue, marketing efficiency, contribution margins, and health metrics across inventory and user base.Own the company’s weekly and monthly operating cadence: run weekly business reviews and KPI tracking, establish clear goals and priorities, and build systems that surface risks early and drive corrective action.Ensure inventory strategy is directly tied to business performance — align SKU count, quality, and pricing with AOV, conversion, and retention goals.Lead rapid experimentation across new revenue streams, product formats, and partnerships, scaling what works, eliminating what doesn’t, and continuously expanding Martie’s growth levers.Financial PerformanceLead financial performance in partnership with the Head of Finance & Operations: oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Maintain visibility across revenue, contribution margin, CAC, fulfillment economics, and working capital.Partner with the Head of Finance & Operations on Board materials, capital planning, and the financial modeling behind major operating decisions.Leadership & Team DevelopmentPartner with the CEO on key leadership hires and ensure the leadership team is structured and supported to perform.Set the tone for how Martie operates: fast, focused, accountable, and mission-driven.Board & Investor SupportPartner with the CEO and Head of Finance & Operations on Board materials and reporting.Contribute to the operating narrative — performance, efficiency, and scalability — that supports the capital story.Support fundraising and diligence workstreams as needed.What Success Looks LikeClear KPIs across the company, consistently improving.New business initiatives moving through the pipeline on a continuous basis — tested, scaled, or removed with speed.Board and investors confident in Martie’s operating discipline and growth trajectory.What You'll Bring10+ years in operating leadership, with experience owning company-wide performance at a growth-stage company.A track record of launching and scaling new business initiatives — you have taken ideas from zero to revenue with limited resources.Strong business judgment with deep comfort in numbers and unit economics.Experience in DTC, e-commerce, CPG, marketplace, or a high-velocity consumer business.Genuine alignment with Martie’s mission.What We OfferA true operating leadership seat with company-wide scope and a direct partnership with the CEO and Board.The chance to run the core business and build the next chapter of growth simultaneously.A leadership team that moves fast, values clarity, and is genuinely building something that matters.How to ApplySend resume to:
