The company specializes in a wide range of commercial roofing systems and is known for delivering quality, long-term roofing solutions across the Southeast.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Roofing Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial roofing projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and field conditions.ROOFING SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE REQUIREDTPO roofing systemsModified bitumenStanding seam and architectural metal roofingAsphalt shingle systems (commercial applications)Built-up roofing (BUR) systemsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projectsReview plans, specifications, and bid documentsPerform material takeoffs and labor pricingWork closely with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricingConduct site visits to assess existing roof conditions when requiredSupport project handoff to operations teams after awardMaintain accurate records of all bids and proposalsREQUIREMENTS3+ years of experience in roofing estimation (commercial preferred)Strong knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systemsAbility to read and interpret architectural and construction drawingsProficiency with estimating software and ExcelStrong communication and negotiation skillsDetail-oriented with strong time management skillsWHAT’S OFFEREDCompetitive salary: $80,000 – $110,000 (DOE)Stable pipeline of commercial roofing projectsSupportive and experienced preconstruction teamLong-term career growth opportunities within the company
