Production Supervisor Manager - D Shift

Manufacturing Team Leader Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations with approximately 28 direct reports.Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of front-line manufacturing employees in rotors and airfoils manufacturing processes and repair. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet production demands, including recruiting and training new employees.Production Oversight: Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Analyze production data and report to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Culture, Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of supervisory experience).Minimum of 2 years leadership or supervisory experience.Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine.Ability and willingness to work D shift (Friday - Sunday 6:00PM - 6:30AM)Prior experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles.Ability to use systematic approach to problem solve.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to convey information clearly and inspire a team.Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to learn and grow.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and ability to execute a strategic vision for their team while supporting the overall needs of the organization.GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
