Commercial Construction Estimating and Project Management

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimating and Project Management professional to lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of large-scale construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing comprehensive bids, and managing projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Develop detailed construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, and on screen Take Off ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals by analyzing project plans, specifications, and contractual documents. Negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms and maintain strong professional relationships. Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenses, and implementing effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, schedules, and contractual obligations. Coordinate with project teams on scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement to optimize project delivery. Review contracts and change orders to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with project scope and client expectations. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Heavy Bid; experience with Bluebeam, Contractor Foreman, On Screen Take off, and Auto Desk is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Extensive knowledge of construction management principles, including cost control, scheduling, and quality assurance. Hands-on construction site experience coupled with solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately. Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Familiarity with contracts management, including drafting, reviewing, and enforcing contractual obligations related to construction projects.
