Powersports Assembly Technician

We are in search of a New Unit Assembly Technician to help maintain the high-quality customer service that our growing customer base deserves. If you are motivated and interested in being part of a fast-paced powersports dealership look no further. We are a family-owned business with almost 20 years in the powersports Industry. We sell new Polaris, BRP, Husqvarna, Beta, and Kawasaki vehicles as well as used ATV's, UTV's, Motorcycles, Snowmobiles, and Personal Watercraft.
Prior experience working on ATV's, UTV's, and Motorcycles is a not required but is beneficial. This position requires an individual with excellent problem-solving skills, product knowledge, the ability to multitask, a disciplined work ethic, and a strong enthusiasm for the powersports industry. Must have your own tools. These are not provided for you.
Job duties will include assembling new machines and trailers, reading setup manuals and assembling units as per OEM manufacturer guidelines, maintaining a clean organized workspace, as well as assorted daily departmental duties. Candidates must provide their own tools and have a valid driver's license. This is a full time position with pay based on experience.
Duties:
- Operate forklift safely to transport materials within the facility and unload delivery trucks of our products being delivered.
- Ability to work on your own or in a team environment.
- Maintain company equipment, fuel and report any issues to supervisor.
- Build all products to OEM Manufacturer standards using practices shown by manual and through training.
- Ability to install Accessories as needed
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS SET, THESE ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR YOU.
- Proven experience using hand tools
- Familiarity with Powersports
- Ability to read build sheets based on technical drawing
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Valid forklift experience in operating forklifts safely
- Ability to show up to work on time and being able to occasionally work overtime as needed to take care of our customers
