This is a senior-level warehouse role that requires a professional who has spent the last 5+ years mastering the complexities of industrial shipping and receiving. You will serve as the backbone of the facilitymanaging the safe movement of gearboxes, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy, and acting as a technical gatekeeper for incoming goods.Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Primary Responsibilities include:Inbound Logistics: Receive all incoming freight, verifying counts against documentation and performing minor quality inspections using micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet specs.Crating & Specialized Shipping: Build or prepare heavy-duty wooden crates specifically designed for the secure national and international transport of industrial gearboxes.Inventory Control: Pick and reserve specific parts for the assembly team; maintain accurate counts and manage warehouse bin locations for maximum efficiency.Production Support: Proactively receive and store materials to ensure sufficient stock levels are always available to meet rigorous production requirements.Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move heavy equipment throughout the facility.Stockroom Maintenance: Maintain the warehouse and work areas in a clean, safe, and professional "5S" condition.Technical Documentation: Utilize computer skills to log inventory movements and read technical drawings to identify specific components for assembly.Shipping / Receiving / Inventory Requirements include:Required Experience: 5+ years of recent experience in a high-volume warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial stockroom environment.Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to read technical drawings and utilize precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).Equipment Mastery: Extensive forklift experience is required; experience with overhead cranes is highly preferred (training provided).Physical Capability: Must be able to consistently lift and move up to 50 lbs.Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to work independently, manage your own workflow, and maintain a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.Join Us.
