Overall SummaryUnder the general supervision of a nurse, the certified nurse assistant provides residents with activities and services as directed, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out and assist residents in ADL’sFollow plan of care as outlined in residents individual care planDocument plan of care as required; vitals, weights, I&O, etc. as outlined by the nursing departmentPractice proper infection control protocolsDocumentation is completed timely and accurateKeep residents’ room clean and free of clutterProvide transportation to activities and meals as requiredCarry out resident’s individual restorative plans as documentedReport all concerns, complaints made by the customer or their family to the appropriate person.Make rounds to assure residents are safe and comfortableIs efficient, minimizes overtime and processes resident charges timely and accuratelyMaintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the departmentParticipates in in-service education as requiredMaintain professional appearance and demeanor, observes dress code policyDemonstrate honesty and integrity, always does the right thing, is open, forthright, genuine, trustworthy and truthfulAll other duties as assignedQualificationsCurrent Illinois CNA CertificationCurrent CPR CertificationExcellent customer service skillsService orientedWilling to work independently as well as a team player Benefts8% Shift DifferentialReferral programFlexible scheduleMedicalDentalVisionPaid Time OffPaid holidays401K
