CDL instructor

ResponsibilitiesTeach students about commercial driving regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures.Provide hands-on instruction for operating commercial vehicles, including practice driving in various road and weather conditions.Provide instruction on Pre-trip inspection and backing maneuversEvaluate student’s progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement.Administer practical exams to assess students' readiness for obtaining a CDL.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and test results.Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in commercial driving instruction.Ensure a safe learning environment for all students during training sessions.QualificationsValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.Minimum two years experience as a commercial driver,Certification as a CDL Instructor or willingness to obtain certification.Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.Patient and supportive attitude towards students.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Commitment to promoting safety and professionalism in commercial driving.**Preferred Qualifications:**Previous experience as a CDL Instructor.Experience working with diverse groups of students, including those with different levels of experience and backgrounds.Familiarity with computer-based training tools and software.
