This position will assist with media distribution, help monitor media coverage, and contribute to reporting and evaluation efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in media relations and places value on data collection and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Distribution: Upload press releases to news distribution platforms, email services, and science news outlets.Project & Workflow Management: Implement and maintain production workflows for communications content to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards upheld.Media Monitoring: Using existing tools, track and compile coverage reports of Client in the media; provide excerpts and data for internal awareness and promotional use.Reporting & Analytics: Generate qualitative and quantitative reports on communications activities (monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific).Additional Support: Assist with other external communications projects as needed, including social media initiatives, journalist outreach, event-related communications, and communicating with members of the media.QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.3–5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, media, or project management.Strong project management skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline pressure.Familiarity with email distribution tools and basic HTML preferred.Chemistry background helpful but not required.Preferred SkillsExperience with media monitoring and reporting tools.Knowledge of scientific or nonprofit communications.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with scientific journal publishing is desired.J-18808-Ljbffr
