Career opportunities may be available to full-time employees.Objectives:To be an integral part of our retail sales team by demonstrating excellent customer service skills in our retail lumber yard. Our ideal candidate takes pleasure in solving problems, is able to work under pressure, up sell products to customers and enjoys being part of a team. Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:Greeting customersOperate Forklifts, saws, and banding equipmentAccurately gather and prepare customer delivery loadsAssisting customers to load their vehiclesGuiding customers towards the right product(s)Maintaining clean lumber yard presentationCross train to fill in at other departments inside the storeAssisting with yard returns and exchangesQualifications:Qualified candidates will have a high school education/GED and 1+ years of retail sales experience or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training. Specific product knowledge and sales experience is preferred, but not necessary. A varied schedule will include day, evening and weekend shifts. Be 18 years of age or olderExcellent customer service skillsPass initital and random drug screensHave a friendly and outgoing personalityBe able to lift 95 lbs. without assistanceBe detail orientedBe motivated, hardworking and honestSalary:Pay will be based on the level of experience.Additional Information:The responsibilities and qualifications displayed here are subject to change.
