This role presents an excellent opportunity for an attorney to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of family law. The associate will work closely with experienced attorneys and serve a diverse client base throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area and beyond. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced practice, assume responsibility for cases, and gain meaningful courtroom experience.ResponsibilitiesDraft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, financial statements, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and analysisReview and analyze discovery materialsDraft client and opposing counsel correspondenceRepresent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions throughout Maryland and Washington, DCPrepare for trial, including drafting exhibits and coordinating with witnessesQualificationsAdmission to practice law in Maryland is required; Washington, DC bar admission is a plus3+ years of litigation experienceAny experience in Family Law is highly preferred but not necessary for considerationWorking knowledge of applicable Maryland and DC family law rules, statutes, and guidelines preferredPrior courtroom experience preferred
