Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This full-time Special Education Teacher position is based in Englewood, CO, with a contract term starting ASAP and ending on March 2, 2026. There is a possibility of contract extension, which will be determined by the end of February. The schedule involves 40 hours per week in a traditional, in-person school setting.Key qualifications and requirements:Must hold a CDE Special Education Professional Teacher License with a Generalist Endorsement (grades 5-21).The license must read: Professional Teacher License #000000, endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21).Temporary, substitute, interim, or traveler licenses are not accepted unless the required license with endorsement has already been applied for with proof.Experience with teaching special education students and knowledge of instructional practices tailored for Special Designed Instruction.Strong understanding of the IEP process and collaboration skills working with professionals on the IEP team.Candidates must be ready to discuss detailed instructional strategies and experience supporting students on alternative standards during interview.Responsibilities will include delivering specialized instruction, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet students unique learning needs.This role is not open to virtual or hybrid schedules; full-time, on-site presence is required.If you meet these qualifications and are prepared to contribute your expertise in special education, please submit your application to be considered for this opportunity.Compensation for this position ranges from $30.82 to $50.82.
