CT Technologist (CT Tech) Location: Wheeling, WV Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 9:30 AM – 10:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Travel Opportunities Available Compensation $2,200–$2,700 per week (based on experience, certifications, and employment type) Overtime opportunities may be available. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging studies that support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Working alongside physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams, you will provide compassionate care while operating advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Follow established radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself. Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and exam results. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care. Perform routine equipment quality assurance and report equipment concerns promptly. Maintain compliance with all hospital, departmental, and regulatory standards. Respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations while maintaining professionalism and patient safety. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT (R) certification required. ARRT (CT) certification required or eligible. Current West Virginia state license (or eligibility to obtain). Current BLS certification. Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred. Experience in emergency, trauma, or acute care settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, and radiation safety practices. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Why Join Our Team?
