Flute Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating children and will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The Teacher will be responsible for teaching a variety of subjects and activities to students in a classroom setting, including dance and theater. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced in classroom management and has a background in early childhood education. The Teacher will be responsible for creating lesson plans, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students. The ideal candidate will also have experience with adult education and culinary arts. Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying ages and abilities - Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment - Use creative and interactive methods to teach subjects such as dance, ballet, and theater - Develop and implement lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of students - Provide individualized support to students to help them reach their full potential - Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes - Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress Skills: - Experience in early childhood education - Experience in classroom management - Experience teaching children - Experience in adult education - Experience in culinary arts - Knowledge of dance and ballet - Knowledge of theater and performance arts - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents - High level of energy and enthusiasm for teaching and learning Job Type: Part-time Pay: $58.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: Choose your own hours Ability to Relocate: Pasadena, CA 91101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
