Arthrex is actively searching for a Cleaning Tech I for our Pendleton, SC manufacturing location on Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm). Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.Main ObjectiveTo clean products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures ensuring superior quality is delivered to internal and external customers.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforms In-Process Cleaning and Passivation of products and components in accordance of work instructionsPerforms terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agentsPerforms manual device assemblyCompletes necessary documentation with accuracy and minimal errorsFollows and executes work instructions with minimal errorsNotifies Crew Coordinator or Supervisor of and safety or production issuesEducation And ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAt least 6 months of manufacturing experience related to assembly, cleaning and/or passivation and/or preferredKnowledge And Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses And/or TrainingThe ability to perform written tasks by reading, understanding and following work instructions providedUse Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as requiredAbility to work independently when necessaryProper use of Good Documentation Practice (GMP)Machine, Tools, And/or Equipment SkillsComprehension is required to perform the following operations / tasks; Crest COC9, Crest Ultrasonic parts washers, DURR Ecocore parts washer and the occasional operation of the specific equipment as trained and assignedPhysical DemandsExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
