As we continue to expand our services and make a mark in the transportation industry, we are in search of an innovative and dynamic Vice President of Partnerships & Sponsorships to join our team.Your PurposeAs the Vice President of Partnerships & Sponsorships at Brightline Trains, you will be responsible for delivering revenue through Sponsorship (advertising) sales, our varied sports, activities, and events sponsorships, and crafting and managing relationships with a variety of travel-related partners such as cruise lines, theme parks, and airlines.Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, your leadership will be crucial in identifying and capitalizing on new revenue streams and partnership opportunities and expertly handling this assortment of internal and external relationships that will be key to our success.Your RoleStrategic Partnership Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for partnerships that enhance Brightline’s brand and drive revenue. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners across industries including Cruise, Airlines, and Theme Parks.Sponsorship (Advertising Sales): Develop and execute strategies for selling advertising space and naming rights for Brightline stations and onboard trains. Engage with advertisers to create compelling packages that enhance their brand visibility while generating revenue for Brightline.Sponsorship Opportunities: Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities that align with Brightline’s brand and strategic goals. Create value-driven sponsorship packages that attract riders with partners such as sports teams and local events.Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, guest experience, and revenue management, to integrate partnership and distribution strategies seamlessly into the overall business plan.Innovation and Market Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging opportunities in partnerships and distribution. Innovate and adapt strategies to maintain Brightline’s competitive edge.Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team dedicated to executing the partnership and distribution strategy. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team success.Performance Analysis: Analyze partnership and distribution performance data to identify trends, measure success, and make data-driven decisions. Regularly report on key metrics to the Chief Commercial Officer.Your QualificationsProven experience in a senior leadership role within partnerships, distribution, or business development, preferably in the transportation, hospitality, or travel industries.An existing strong set of industry relationships that you can call on to enhance our business, and the ability to quickly develop new industry relationships based upon mutual success.Strong track record of developing and executing successful partnership and distribution strategies.Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.Ability to think strategically and innovatively to drive business growth.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Requires extensive experience with in-depth use of data to inform activities. You will have used your own analysis as well as that of your team to create roadmaps, forecasts, and detailed reviews of the success or failure of partnerships.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Experience leading and managing a team.We are a new business model – agile and evolving.
