About the RoleWeber Murphy Fox (WMF) is seeking an experienced Construction Field Superintendent to join our Integrated Design and Construction team in the Erie, PA market.This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast‐paced environment, working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and trade partners to deliver complex commercial projects. Our work spans higher education, K‐12, healthcare, civic, retail, and manufacturing markets.As the primary on‐site representative for WMF, the Field Superintendent is responsible for maintaining safe, well‐coordinated, and on‐schedule job sites while providing strong leadership, communication, and client service.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as WMF's primary on‐site representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, inspectors, and code officialsCoordinate and oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codesMonitor contractor performance, quality, schedule adherence, and site safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and compliance.Lead weekly safety and coordination meetings with contractors and project teamsCoordinate material deliveries, equipment, temporary facilities, survey crews, and third‐party inspectionsInterpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for contractors and stakeholdersAssist the Project Manager with change order evaluations, time‐and‐material tracking, and issue resolutionIssue field directives as required and help resolve on‐site conflictsMaintain accurate jobsite documentation, including daily logs, progress photos, as‐built drawings, and weekly/monthly reportsAttend job conferences and coordination meetings throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsMinimum 5 years of commercial construction experienceStrong organizational, problem‐solving, and multitasking skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while working under established deadlinesExcellent communication and relationship‐building skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; willingness to learn construction‐related software and field technologyOSHA 10 or 30 certification preferredAbility to pass required background checksAuthorized to work in the United StatesValid Driver's LicenseWhy Weber Murphy Fox?At Weber Murphy Fox, Superintendents are integral members of the project leadership team.
