Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Welder - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.The core hours are Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:The Welder will perform production GMAW welding operations on formed sheet metal structural and non-structural weld group assemblies.In this function you will:Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulationsPerform welding per engineering specificationOperate equipment/machinery to produce partsInterpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawingsBuild weld group kits from BOM'sMaintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operationInspect final component against work specificationsComplete necessary paperwork and system transactionsPerform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipmentProvide on-the-job training for new operatorsPerform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities dailyPlace scrap in appropriate containersComplete any other assigned tasks from managementQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
