We are committed to providing customer service excellence and strive to be among the best in the industry.About the Role:The Assistant Store Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the retail store located in Kure Pleasant Valley. This position is responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining high standards of customer service, and overseeing daily store activities to meet business objectives. The Assistant Store Manager will lead and motivate the store team, manage inventory control, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers. Ultimately, the Assistant Store Manager contributes significantly to the store's profitability and reputation within the community.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software.Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a team.Customer service certification or training.Knowledge of local market trends and customer preferences. Responsibilities:Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing sales strategies to achieve store targets.Supervise and support store staff by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention measures.Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review.Skills:
