Operations Coordinator - **MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND** Position Summary The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations. This individual works closely with leadership, project managers, office staff, and field teams to ensure projects are organized, communication flows smoothly, and operational processes continue to improve. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating systems, and helping teams operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn every aspect of the business. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Project Coordination Assist in coordinating project schedules and production calendars Support Project Managers with job planning and execution Help monitor project timelines and ensure jobs stay on schedule Coordinate communication between the office, field teams, vendors, and customers Assist leadership with day-to-day operational needs and special projects Process Improvement Develop, document, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and communication Help implement new systems and operational processes Assist with training materials and onboarding documentation Reporting & Business Support Prepare operational reports and company scorecards Assist with KPI tracking and job performance metrics Review labor hours, production reports, and project progress Support leadership with data collection and decision-making Financial & Administrative Support Learn and assist with QuickBooks and financial reporting Support job costing and profitability reviews Assist with budgeting and operational reporting Help coordinate documentation, files, and internal records Team Support Serve as a resource for office and field employees Help coordinate meetings and follow up on action items Provide administrative support to leadership as needed Cross-train in multiple departments to provide operational support when needed Vendor & Material Coordination Assist with vendor communication and ordering Help coordinate materials and deliveries for projects Support inventory tracking and purchasing as assigned Safety & Quality Promote company safety standards and policies Assist with quality control processes and follow-up Help ensure projects meet company expectations for craftsmanship and customer satisfaction Facility & Operational Support Assist in maintaining an organized office and shop environment Support equipment, inventory, and operational logistics Help coordinate company events, meetings, and special initiatives as needed Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities High attention to detail Proficiency with Google Workspace (QuickBooks experience is a plus) Experience in construction, project coordination, or operations is preferred but not required Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and paid holidays Professional development and training Opportunities for advancement within a growing, family-owned company A collaborative, team-oriented work environment where your ideas and contributions matter Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
