Part- Time Barn Assistant/Lesson Support Dynamic Equine LLC in Richmond, Texas is seeking a reliable, knowledgeable, and motivated part-time Barn Assistant to support daily barn operations and assist with lessons. **This is not a riding position.** Horse experience and comfort handling horses is an absolute requirement. Applicants must be confident working around horses safely and independently. Schedule: 2-4 weekdays per week (schedule to be discussed) Occasional Saturday mornings as needed. Saturdays primarily involve supervising boarder visits and completing general barn tasks. This position may occasionally require working alone/independently on the property, so trust, responsibility, and good judgement are essential. Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: Catching, handling, tying, grooming, and tacking horses (basic). Assisting during lessons (arena setup, horse handling, student support). Feeding horses according to barn routines. General barn chores including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe environment. Property care and upkeep (tidying common areas, basic organization, light facility maintenance). Supervising boarder visits when required. Supporting daily barn operations as needed. Requirements: Prior horse experience is REQUIRED. Comfortable and confident handling horses on the ground. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Reliable transportation is required. Able to work independently when needed. Physically able to perform barn work (lifting, walking, standing, outdoor work). Strong awareness of safety for horses, clients, and facility. Lesson Environment: Mix of kids and adults. Riders range from beginners to advanced. Calm, professional demeanor required when working around students and boarders. Position Details: Hourly pay, based on experience. Independent contractor position. Open to responsible minors/working student with parental permission.
