Metal Processor 1st Shift/2nd Shift
Job DescriptionCardinal Staffing is hiring a Metal Processor for a local manufacturing facility to run their Laser cutting table and support other fabrication equipment. This is not a CNC machining role, they are looking for candidates with plasma table or fabrication shop experience who are comfortable working independently and handling a mix of work. What You'll Do: Operate and maintain our laser cutting table (Bodor C4 12kw) Load material using cranes or forklifts Run pre-programmed cut files provided by our CAD team Inspect and de-burr parts after cutting Support operation of other shop equipment: Accurshear Hydraulic Press Brake Dragon Tube & Pipe Processing Machine Horizontal Band Saw Follow job travelers and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized work area Communicate effectively with shift lead and follow daily work priorities Requirements:Laser table or fabrication experience in a job shop or steel shop Able to read blueprints and follow traveler instructions Comfortable operating or learning crane, forklift, and shop equipment Independent, reliable, and detail-focused Comfortable working second shift hours Shifts:1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 PM Pay:$20 - $28Based on experience + 10% shift premium (for 2nd shift only) At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
