Security Operations Manager

Role : Security Operations ManagerRate: $47/ Hour on W2 & $53/ Hour on C2C Work Location : Cleveland, OH (This role would require the candidate to work onsite once a month so we would prefer local or nearby located candidates who can manage without having to travel) Note : This role would require a balance of technical expertise in SOC operations, incidence response and operational experience and technical team leadership.Role ResponsibilitiesProvides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members, or a small staff of professional-level team members.Work is guided by operational and project objectives.Sets and communicates clear expectations for work outcomes and manages performance.Manages a staff of professional-level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors.Works within general policies and management guidance, independently determining approach to managing daily operations.Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect Company operations(s) across a small geographical area.Develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet business requirements.Analyzes, investigates and recommends process improvements related to loss control and incident reports.Manages and is accountable for the Security budget for the operations across a small geographic area.Role RequirementsUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Graduate degree preferred.Strong knowledge of industrial security programs and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets.Certified Protection Professional or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent internationally recognized qualification.Typical Years of ExperienceTypically requires 10-12 years relevant experience.Includes 3-5 years managerial/ leadership experience.
