Growing together.The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones.Hours: This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The supervisor will determine the schedule. May be asked to float to other practices as needed.Location: 8526 Dell Webb Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89134 and up to 50% travel to 4750 W Oakey Blvd Las Vegas, NVPrimary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service to all customersResponsible to greet patient and check patient in and out. Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in EPIC and update as necessaryCollect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policiesSchedule appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerResponsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assistedWork with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flowComfortable with inbound and outbound callsResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
