Applies principles, theories and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results. Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflowSkills And AbilitiesDemonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the positionDemonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipmentExhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the publicExhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervisionMaintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job locationEDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology programCurrent American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s certification (in relevant *modality)Current Oregon license or recent graduate of approved program and holds a valid temporary Oregon permit previous to taking ARRT registry. Registry must be obtained within a reasonable time period not to exceed one year (in relevant *modality)American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafterImage Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafterAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferredVarious Modalities:Radiologic TechnologyMammographyCT TechnologyMRI TechnologyExperienceOne year previous experience in hospital settingGENERAL INFORMATION Union Affiliation: UFCWThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
