There are many accounts in the pipeline and many qualified leads. With the size of the territory, visiting existing customers/targets will be a significant part of the job.There is a full team of engineers, inspection personnel, logistics, etc, to back you upCompensation: $75k and uncapped commission. OTE is approximately $130,000.A global manufacturer of fall protection/safety company needs a person to manage the territory representing a line of custom engineered and manufactured safety/fall protection solutions and products. Company offerings include inspection/engineering services, training and custom products.Serving:Construction, power/utilities, mining/cement, manufacturing, warehouses, more.Key Skills/Similar:Experience with B2B technical engineered productsExperience with sales and account management into construction or appropriate commercial/industrialAble to travel and both handle account management and new salesAble to/comfortable with going to sites, climbing on roofs, etcPosition:B2B outside sales - Combination of consultative sales and account managementWork with company-provided qualified leads and customers; find some of own, pursue allWork with company methodology and system - extensive training providedMust "sell"/represent company inspection, engineering and training, not only productsPerform site surveys to address ANSI (and OSHA) compliance issuesPrepare detailed quotations for site-specific engineered products to address issuesWork with company engineering, inside sales and logistics to deliver a seamless experienceResolve issues such as shipping/logistics, credit, engineering, etc, that get in the wayLeverage construction tracking tools and market analysis to generate new business.Track all relevant activities in CRM (training provided)Career Track: multiple directions as sales expand (I'll go through it with you)Requirements:Experience working with and hitting or exceeding sales goals in appropriate subject area4+ years of experience selling; significant amount B2BSkilled with technical/consultative selling - so find value, not just price.Excellent communication skills - on sites, with customers, in presentations, etcType of person you need to be:Creative problem solver for the customer and yourselfEnergized by both in-depth account management and "hunter" type sales.Provides solutions to a customer that is a value to them and best margin for companyEnjoys being independent: digging into numbers, writing quotes, presenting to customersEnergized being in the field with customersA creative problem solverAbility to take measurements, prepare to scale hand sketches for estimatingMust be able to work legally in the U.S. without any visa requirements now or in the future.
