Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM)
Overview
As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Rigetti, you will lead end-to-end, cross-disciplinary programs that integrate quantum hardware, cryogenic systems, and control software into deployable quantum devices. You’ll synchronize research, fabrication, and software teams to deliver system-level releases on schedule, in a fast-moving, technically ambiguous environment. You’ll shape execution governance and program visibility while aligning with company priorities and mission to advance quantum computing at scale.

ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end delivery of complex, system-level programsCreate and manage program roadmaps, milestones, and integration schedules for quantum system releasesCoordinate across multiple engineering teams (quantum device & fabrication, cryogenic, control hardware/software)Lead cross-team integration planning for new processor generations and deploymentsTrack readiness across hardware, firmware, and software layersIdentify technical, schedule, and operational risks early; drive data-driven decisions and blockers to resolutionEstablish scalable program management practices for deep-tech R&D and provide leadership with status reporting
