Description: HOUSEKEEPERS – Full-Time Bryn Mawr Care, Chicago, IL - $17.50 per hour Union Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in the Edgewater area on the northside of Chicago, IL seeks: Full Time Housekeepers; Monday - Friday, from 7a - 2:30p some days and other days 2:30-10p Part Time Housekeepers: Saturday - 2:30p-10:00p Sunday - 7:00a - 2:30 or 2:30-10p This is a Union position so Union dues are deducted from pay. Hourly rate $17.50. Responsibilities of the Housekeeper: Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all rooms, halls, bathrooms, fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed Scour and polish water fountains, sinks, mirrors and glass panels in doors and partitions Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc. Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles IND4 Requirements: of the Housekeeper: High school diploma or G.E.D. Able to speak some English preferred Housekeeping experience in healthcare is a plus Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties Personable with residents, families and a team-player with staff in a professional manner Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards Equal Opportunity Employer.
