Job DetailsDescriptionKey Responsibilities:Analyzing Business Needs:Understanding and translating business data requirements into system specifications.Developing EDI Specifications:Creating and implementing EDI specifications and mapping.Testing and Debugging:Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of EDI systems through rigorous testing and debugging.Monitoring Transactions:Overseeing EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.Resolving Technical Issues:Addressing and resolving any technical issues or discrepancies in EDI systems.Coordinating with Partners:Working with trading partners to set up new EDI integrations and manage existing ones.Providing Technical Support:Offering technical support and training to users on EDI system operations.Maintaining Documentation:Keeping detailed records of system changes, updates, and troubleshooting actions.Ensuring Security and Compliance:Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the security and compliance of EDI data.Recommending Improvements:Evaluating and suggesting updates or improvements to the existing EDI system.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of EDI or related experience.Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).Proficiency in EDI mapping and translation tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.EDI certification is a plus.Preferred SkillsExperience with specific EDI software (e.g., Seeburger, OpenText Trading Grid, etc.).Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., D365) and their integration with EDI.Familiarity with XML, JSON, and other data formats.
