One of our Prominent clients, engaged in Elevator industry is looking for an \"Sr. Engineering Project Manager\" role in Atlanta, GAJob details:Job title:: Sr. Engineering Project ManagerDuration:: 3 Months (CONTRACT)Location:: Atlanta, GA 30339 (ONSITE)Shift:: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday (8AM - 5:00PM)Brief about the role:Manage key projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope. Under limited direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, project forecasts, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.Essential FunctionsResponsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projectsTakes project from original concept through final implementation ensuring technical feasibilityDefines project scope and objectivesDevelops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reportsCoordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop detailed project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationship with third party/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationResponsible for monthly forecasting of assigned projectsTroubleshoot problems that come up during projectsReport project KPIs as requiredCommunicate with our IT department about resource allocationHost a project meeting at least once per week for each project under your directionExperience Preferred:PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.CRM ImplementationProven working experience in project managementAbility to complete projects on time and within the stated budgetExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsExperience with agile project management methodologiesWork Experience Required:Minimum 10+ years of project management or other related fieldsMinimum 5+ years’ experience coordinating and/supporting business processesRequired Education, Certification & Training:Bachelor’s degree in computer or business related discipline required (Master’s degree a plus)
