Mainframe Developer

DataStaff, Inc is seeking a Mainframe Technical Analyst or a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC.*This position is hybrid.Job Description:Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills, including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.Knowledge and Experience:The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savingsThe ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support, interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnelRequired Skills:7 Years - Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality7 Years - Experience providing configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software7 Years - Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques7 years - Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB27 Years - Ability to evaluate complex SQL queriesThis opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
